Three US governors -- Schwarzenegger (R-CA), Brian Schweitzer (D-MT) and Jon Huntsman (R-UT) -- took to the airwaves today with a message to Congress to follow their lead in solving climate change. The TV ad, sponsored by Environmental Defense, will appear in 17 markets in 11 states for two weeks. It comes on the heels of an unprecedented week of state-led climate action, punctuated by a group of Midwest Governors from coal-rich states banding together to forge a regional cap-and-trade scheme. The ad is below, but Gov Schweitzer said it best in the NYT last week: “Here’s a novel concept for Congress. Do something. Anything. Move.”
