Breaking News: Denmark to Adopt Israel’s Electric Car Project

If you thought Israel’s 100,000-vehicle electric car experiment was a one-country fluke, you’re wrong.

Globes is reporting that Denmark is expected to announce tomorrow that it too is adopting Israel's Project Better Place electric car model, the brain child of software giant Shai Agassi.

Copenhagen will likely house the pilot project.

Globes is also hinting that Agassi's European experiment could earn him far more green credentials than his Middle Eastern version. That’s because Denmark could tap its many wind turbines to power the project’s electric car recharging stations, instead of being solely dependent on electricity from fossil fuels.

Next up Japan?
