How Oily is Your Congressperson?

Now, there's no excuse not to know.

You're a click away from finding out which politicians are accepting money from the oil giants -- and just how much.

It's called Follow the Oil Money. Brought to you by Oil Change International. Punch in your zip code, and voila, Big Oil's influence over politics in America quickly reveals itself.

The site also traces the flow of oil dollars to the presidential candidates. Here's the list -- from most to least oily:

1.) Mitt Romney (R): $345,383 -- Biggest contributors: Moncrief Oil International and Exxon Mobil

Update: Romney's out.

2.) Hillary Clinton (D) $235,250 -- Biggest contributors: Global Partners LP, CAMA Intl and Exxon Mobil

3.) John McCain (R) $206,935 -- Biggest contributors: Hess Corp and Glencore Ltd

4.) Barack Obama (D) $110,412 -- Biggest contributors: Exxon Mobil and Hess Corp

5.) Mike Huckabee (R) $18,700 -- Biggest contributor: Oil and Gas Producer

Lots of good data here. (Of note: Obama has received the largest single contribution from Exxon Mobil of all the remaining candidates, at $15,150.)
