12% of Republicans Concerned About Global Warming

So here's the latest on the partisan divide on global warming in America: it's gigantic, and has grown "substantially" over the last year, reports the Pew Research Center:

Only a small percentage of Republicans now say that dealing with global warming should be a top priority for the president and Congress compared with nearly half of Democrats (47%) who rate it as a major concern for policymakers.

But it's worth noting that members of both parties rank fixing the US economy as priority #1 in the polls, also in growing numbers.

In fact, Pew reports that partisan differences over the importance of boosting the economy were large at the start of last year. Now, they've all but disappeared.

C'mon Wall Street, you can do it. Tell the folks at home what you know so well: solutions to global warming = fixes to the economy too.
